Meet Wendy Moore

A proud Caymanian from George Town, Wendy Moore has been the manager of The Renaissance since 2009, overseeing the property’s transformation from newly built condominiums into one of Seven Mile Beach’s most reputable vacation destinations. With over 30 years in property management, Wendy brings deep experience, practical know-how, and a calm, solution-oriented approach to her work. She’s known for anticipating problems before they arise, finding answers quickly, and maintaining strong relationships with both owners and guests—many of whom have become lifelong friends. For Wendy, property management isn’t just a job; it’s an extension of who she is. Every day is different, and she thrives on that mix of challenge and connection.

Caymanian Roots and Professional Dedication

Wendy’s roots in Grand Cayman give her a unique connection to the island and its people. She enjoys sharing her local knowledge with guests, from recommending favorite restaurants to pointing out the best snorkeling spots within walking distance. Her genuine enthusiasm for the island and for the guests who visit it has helped shape The Renaissance into a place where visitors return year after year. Wendy believes that hospitality is about the details—listening, remembering, and creating an experience that feels personal and effortless. Over three decades in the industry have taught her that consistency, honesty, and care build trust, and that trust is what keeps both owners and guests coming back.

Leadership, Community, and Family

Before joining The Renaissance, Wendy served as the Executive Director of the National Trust for the Cayman Islands, helping protect the islands’ natural and historic heritage. She’s also a long-time member of the Cayman Islands Tourism Association, where she has served as both Vice President and Board Member. Beyond her professional commitments, Wendy has been active in community theatre as a dancer and singer, performing in productions and fundraisers for organizations such as Jasmine (Hospice Care) and the Cayman Islands Cancer Society. Married to her husband and best friend, Tracy, for over 38 years, Wendy treasures time with their two adult children and credits her family for grounding her through the many seasons of life. Her mix of professionalism, authenticity, and quiet strength continues to define The Renaissance—making it not just a property, but a place that feels genuinely cared for.
